Vintage White

How do I get rid of the smell of mothballs from my "new" vintage white leather handbag?

Both the lining and leather really smell - will wear off or can I use something? Otherwise perfect bag and although used very old!

This process works well to absorb odors, including most of mothballs, smoke, musty odors, etc. You need: a plastic container with lid, like a Rubbermaid trash dear diary cat litter Spread a layer of litter at the bottom of the tray. Place a layer of newspaper on top of litter and place the piece smelly on top of the newspaper. Close the lid and let sit for a few days. The litter absorbs odors. You may have to replace the litter litter cool and repeat the process a couple of times. Make sure your purse is open. And as someone else suggested a good leather polish may be applied. I hope this helps. :)
